The challenge i think what is faced is what it is to be West Ham, it's cultural, hereditary, in your DNA, its serious, it's pride and what we face is 3 people hell bent on trying to reinvent something and in that process are dismissive of the fans/supporters and stripping away that fabric and history and replacing it with popcorn.

No I wouldn't care. I would have taken the piss royally if last years kit launch was anyone elses though! In fact, I think the only clips of it I saw were from the likes of Paddy Power ripping it.
I just meant that it's not a current trend that has completely passed me by is it? Or do other clubs just do it less pisstake-worthy??

My kids bought me a WH shirt back in the 90's. I hated replica shirts then and still do because I think it is a ridiculous and style less notion.
I had to wear it to matches for a while under my jacket so I wouldn't upset the kids. It was cheap nylon and awful (a genuine WH product) and made me sweat under my arms. I got rid of it as soon as I reasonably could on the grounds it was out of date.

Out owners should realise most of our supporters have working class roots and support Wesr Ham because our dads did and their dads did.
My kids are hammers it's just the way it is.
We ain't and hopefully never will be a Chelsea or an Arsenal where they have new breed of "fans" who demand success.
